There is a significant increased risk of non-Hodgkin lymphoma in celiac
disease patients. A new epidemiological study links a diet rich in
certain nutrients, including omega-3 fatty acids, to a substantially
lowered risk of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Is malabsorption of these nutrients
the critical factor causing the increased risk of non-Hodgkin lymphoma in
celiac disease?
