Subject: Update on Amber Adamson 5.15.06, Monday 2pm


    This Monday morning Wendy went with Amber to see the western doctor.
The doctor is a Norwegian believer and a close friend of ours.  His name is
Reinhart.  All of the MRI & EEG results were translated into English and the
result is that Amber has a cyst on the pineal gland in her brain.  It
measures .6 x 1 x .9 cm.
    Reinhart, the doctor, said that we should get an MRI contrast.  That is
where they inject a discolored fluid in order to contrast the first MRI with
the 2nd.  What the doctors are looking for is what exactly is in the cyst.
The doctor said that if there is blood in the cyst then we should have Amber
have surgery in the US.  If it is just fluid, then it might not be as
serious.
    So, after the meeting with Dr. Reinhart, we went to the diagnostic
center.  There were two technicians in the MRI department.  The lady
technician told us to leave and come back on Friday.  We walked out into the
hallway to wait to see what would happen and the lady technician walked into
another adjoining room.  The older male technician who remained in the
office called us back in to ask us more questions.  After much discussion
and a call to Dr. Reinhard, he said that we could come back on Wednesday
morning at 8:30am  for the contrast MRI.  PTL!  We will meet with Dr.
Reinhart on Thursday at 1pm to discuss the results of the 2nd MRI test.  So,
here are our prayer requests:

1. Amber has a cough that started on Saturday.  She will have to remain
still for 26 minutes again!  Pray that she will be healed of her cough
before Wednesday 8:30am(Tuesday evening 8:30pm Denver, CO time).
2. Pray that Amber's heart would be calm.  She did great the 1st time, but
was very scared.
3. She will have to be injected with the contrast fluid.  You know how kids
and shots go together.
4. We will meet with Reinhart on Thursday at 1pm (Thursday 1am, Denver, CO
time) to discuss the results.  Pray that we would have wisdom about the next
steps.
5. Pray that we could get an accurate diagnosis.
6. Pray for our hearts.  With so much uncertainty in the diagnosis it is
difficult to know how to respond.
