Amazing isn't it? God sends his love from across the ocean! Funny too,
though we've never met, I feel I know you, I guess that's because we are
connected by something stronger than distance-the love of Christ. I do so
appreciate your words, Yes, God was with us before in Pa, it was such a hard
time, and I've never talked to God so much as then. I didn't know anyone
there, so when I was alone nights while Ben was in the h hospital I talked
to God, I read His word; I listened to music and sang! And even in Pa, where
snow fills the roads and sidewalks, where everyone seems to be in a hurry,
and no one seems to have time to talk to their neighbor, God sent his love
then too-through Christmas cards and financial help from some of this
family!
Seems it's hardest after midnight, when all is dark outside, seems that's
when all the fears and what-ifs come to visit, I just know that with
diabetes infections are so hard to get rid of...what about pnomia how would
I know if he had th at? He is opposed to going to the h hospital, though if
he doesn't get better I may just call someone out here!
Rhonda

Dearest Rhonda,

I just want to put my arms round you and let you cry. Mike is
generally healthy but he had a very bad bout of gastric flu (or
it probably was food poisoning, though not confirmed) last year
and he literally couldn't stand. I was worried and cried about
him because I was afraid it would go from bad to worse. I have
since been ill myself for some months now and sometimes get quite
afraid as things appear to change. Be encouraged as you think
back to the last big problem. (I remember when Ben was so ill in
hospital.) God kept you both then in His love and care and
continued with you all the time. Nothing has changed with Him!
He sees every tear and loves you both very dearly.

Be assured you're in my prayers right now. Keep us posted,
please.

CAROL

Gatorade but

medicine
>today...he is sleeping now, but that's sort of one and off!
>He is swollen too, they told him last time he saw a doctor in
November that

worse now.
