Hi everyone, I have asked this question on some other lists, and haven't
gotten any place with it. For the last few months with Pine 4.58 and
Windows XP Home on the laptop I have had a problem with it timing out
after a few minutes of no activity. It is just Pine, and I have been
checking with my ISP and they say that everything is fine on their end. I
have tried telneting to this account from other places with this computer
and the problem has persisted. For now, I have used nul packets with
Putty Telnet/SSH client and it seems to be helping out, but I'd like to
get to the bottom of this issue if I can. I am using Windows XP Home,
and it doesn't matter the telnet client I use.
