Kat, each state is different, Virginia didn't have a CAP program, and they
required people who were on Medicaid to only get the bare minimum of SSI.
Any more than that went to the aide agency I had to pay a third of my
check out every month to the agency. Here I get to keep it all. :)

I'm west of you, in Asheville, and I'm glad to be here, even though I miss
my church and pastor there in Richmond.

Mike

Sorry, I'm not sure what you meant by this remark, Ken.

Thanks for clueing us in, Mike. As I have said, I have no experience
whatsoever with Medicaid programs so that was new to me. My friend
works with people who are elderly and thus use Medicare and not
Medicaid.

Where in NC are you living now?

Kat
