Have you tried resetting the tool bar data and using full menus.
Go to view -> options -> customize under the options tab.
Check use full menus and reset tool bar data.
Maybe that will do it.

Maybe run Repair and see if that helps. I've not heard of this
happening before, but I guess there's always a first time.
If you run Repair, be sure to have your office CD handy.
