Did you set a Windows password for the user?  If not you will not get the
password prompt and Windows will not know which profile to use.  (When you say
profile I am assuming that you are talking about desktop settings and not
system settings).

By the way, does anyone know if you can use User Profiles (system type) on a
stand alone Windows 95 machine.  i.e. different levels of access to the
computer such as removing the Entire Network on one and leaving it in tact in
another profile.
