I would agree with Butch.  When I lived in Boise back in the late 90's, I 
had one of these.  It's called the BWD1.8-30.  I had mine with the apex at 
about 45 feet in inverted vee configuration.  I found it worked very well on 
the upper bands and really down through 40 where I worked some good DX.  On 
80 it was a good local comms antenna but not much for low angle propagation. 
It was pretty much worthless on 160.  But, if you are looking for something 
that will give you good sigs out on 40 and up, it's a good antenna, although 
a little on the pricy side.
