An event for blind radio direction finding was scheduled for Dayton this
year. The event was cancelled because of the low interest.

Would anyone consider running around a field in search of a
transmitter?

Maybe the competitions should be held in the dark, but that would make
80 CW a bit more crowded.

Check out
http://www.ardfusa.com
and consider the rules at
http://ardfusa.com/rules1.htm

What rules would you add or change?

I hope guide dogs and white canes would be permitted.

GPS gear should not be used.

Should a talking compass be permitted or restricted?

Drop the organizers a note. I'm sure they would appreciate knowing what
their intended audience thinks.
