Hey Rich,

The 100-watt amp has the RS232 connection built in, so you don't have  
to get that if you are going to use it strictly as a 100-watt rig.

It does come with filters that whoever builds it will set up and  
allign for both SSB and CW (not to mention digital).

Thee box for cw readout is about 1.2X3X5 inches--not very big at all.
