Hi,
I have an ic-821.
It does have a voice option, not sure which board it takes but could
have a look if you are interested.
The speech only provides frequency and memory channel numbers. None
of the menues or pl tones are spoken.
The kenwood ts-790 would be a good alternative.
Also, there is no keypad entry with the ic-821. It can be a bit of a
pain as on ssb, you need to keep turning the dial and pressing the
speech button until you land in the right place.
