The only thing that comes to mind is he appointed it to the discipled
described as "the one he loved". I think he and John were like that
*crossing fingers*. I'm not sure of Jesus' brothers being believers at
this point. I want to think James, his brother, didn't come around until
after Jesus was crucified. Could be wrong on the time there though.

Rhonda2,

I agree with the majority of opinion that holds that Joseph had already
passed sometime between Jesus' twelfth year & the beginning of his
ministry,
which commenced shortly after his baptism. Actually, I seem to remember
having heard it being proposed in a teaching some years ago. But,
something
that occurred to me in reading the replies to your original message is
this,
Why did Jesus need to appoint a provider for his mother? I.E. it is very
clear from scripture that Mary had other children. James leaps to mind
immediately. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Hay guys,
well it's early/late which ever you prefer, but mark and I were talking
about something and we thought it would be nice to discuss with all of you

on the list.
we do get references to Mary and her feeling's as our Lord was placed on
the

cross and all that he endured there.
What do you guys think about Joseph and his feelings and what he might be
thinking during Christ's crusifiction?
