Hello,

A few people responded to the my question about the unknown
ingredient "oblate powder" in Kasugai's Grape Gummy candy. However,
no one knew from what it was derived.

I contacted Kasugai directly, and received a very prompt and direct
reply.

"Oblate powder" is made from potato starch, corn starch and soy
lecithin. The powder is applied onto the exterior of each candy, so
the amounts are small.

Now to enjoy some Grape Gummy!

Thanks,

Jason
