My partner just received grant funding to travel to China; and my 10 year old daughter and I (both celiac) are contemplating traveling with him to Beijing and Shanghai (and surrounding areas) this summer. I'm in the process of investigating the details of this possible trip - including food options (or perhaps hiring an interpreter to help with food issues). Have any of you made a successful gluten-free trip to China? If so, how did you do it?
I will summarize responses - and if I make this trip, I will absolutely let you know how it went.
