dec talk seems the same 2 me….. theres a program called ReadPlease that has
a more human sounding voice. but you’d better have decent EYESIGHT, &
enough dexterity 2 control a mouse if u wanna use it, because like most
things, it’s created for the convenience of able bodied people, & not as a
necissity 4 disabled. there’s a free version of ReadPlease on the Internet.
Just Google it.
The voices r created from actual people. In the program, my favorate is
“MARY.” I think her voice is the clearest.
I also have JAWS, an expensive screen reader for disabled, but even Jaws,
until recently, (as far as I understand), couldn’t be operated with only 1
hand! (It was aimed at blind. (& of course, we know that its just ONE
disability per person!) (They don’t grow
on trees, u no!) :)
