Pa Nderry,
You did run my first email to you in your paper but you took out the last
two sentences from my email. You also did not publish the brother's email
commending the apology as you claimed because it was never at in your paper.
I also requested that this email you have replied to here be run in your
paper. I asked you in this email you have replied to here to make good on your
often repeated statement that you publish all comments from all your readers
whether they are complementary or non-complementary to your paper and if that
is not a false statement, I would not need to even tell you to publish what
I have written to you. You would have also published all the other private
emails that others have sent to you regarding this issue. You have not
hesitated to publish emails I have sent to you in the past but I suppose that is
because those emails were complementary and not critical of you and your paper.
Frankly Pa Nderry, I am really disappointed with the way you have been
playing games regarding this matter, from publishing an edited version of my email
in your paper and then insisting that you did not do so; to claiming that
you have published the emails from others who wrote to you regarding this same
issue in your paper when in-fact you published a token email from one of
your readers, and then all the while telling me how sorry you are and how I have
been a supporter of your paper.
Kindly stop patronizing me and publish all the emails I have sent to you as
well as the ones you have received from others regarding this matter. You
need to publish my responses in the same paper so that it is for public
consumption just like your initial article was. That is what needs to be done instead
of this attempt to placate me by telling me how sorry you are that I and my
sister have been inconvenienced or embarassed and how I was a supporter of
your paper. That is not going to solve this issue and it does not do anything
for your credibility because your continued representation that you give
voice to favourable as well as non-favourable commentary in your paper has proven
to be false so long as this game playing continues.
You stand accused of practicing dishonest journalism if you publish things
you cannot substantiate and then play games to hide the responses you receive
from your readers because you know that those responses and the criticisms in
them point out the contradictions and inconsistencies in what you claim you
and your paper represent, and so you want to bury those criticisms. That is
also hardly a sign of respect for your readership.

Pa Nderry,
Thank you for your apology but I would also like to see the apology
published in your paper since the story was carried in that paper also. I would also
like to see my entire first email to you, as well as this one in your paper
since you have edited the last part of that first email when you put it in
your paper. I would like to see you follow through to exercise the transparency
you say your publication stands for in carrying all commentary whether
favourable to your paper or not.
It is not a matter of discomfort or embarassment caused by the story you
published about my sister because frankly, perhaps you can tell me what there
is to be embarassed about the fact that my sister used to be married to Tam
Jasseh years ago and they do have a child. The intention here in my view was
not to embarrass anyone but to attempt to implicate people in a most devious
way without a shred of evidence. Furthermore, you and your source feel it
necessary to talk about the private life of my sister, who she had a child with
and who is whose biological father and where people's children go to school,
as well as whether the attendance of a graduation was a genuine trip for that
purpose or not.
Is this information that will help to free Gambians from tyranny in your
view?
Frankly, deliberately publishing such information about anyone cannot be
for any other reason than the intent to maliciousIy slander someone with the
intention to manufacture insinuations intended to cause trouble for people and
it is trash journalism pure and simple. If you want your paper to be taken
seriously and not seen as a vehicle to be used to slander people for whatever
personal reason the author may have, then have your sources stick to the
relevant issues and you have to take responsibility for what you print in your
paper. The blame cannot go to your sources because you are ultimately liable
for what you publish in your paper and as a journalist, I am sure you know
that. I fail to see how you could have published such information in your paper
if it was not deliberate because I am certain that you review information
your sources send to you before publishing them. Neither you nor your sources
know my sister and if you have a bone to pick with anyone, then please do not
use my sister as a pawn in that venture.

Hi Sister Jabou Joh,
Your concerns are well noted. We apologise for any discomfort the report of
Bufaaleh might have caused to you and your family. This paper is not in the
business of witch haunting individuals and we deeply regretted any
embarrassment his report might have caused. If We can fully remember, you are one of
those who praised us for doing a great job when we just came in. Your call for
Gambians both at home and abroad to rally behind the Freedom Newspaper to
expose the monster at Banjul Yahya Jammeh is on record for all to see. We
never doubted your commitment to the struggle.
On behalf of the Freedom Newspaper management, I want to assure you and
your sister that this paper do not harbour any personal vendetta against Katty
Joh. As far as we are concerned, you are a "valued contributor and supporter"
of the Freedom Newspaper. Feel free to draw our attention whenever you think
that we are not doing justice to some of the issues we covered. We hope you
will continue to work and network with this leading paper, which you
cherished, for its commitment to end tyranny and dictatorship in The Gambia. Have a
great day.
Cheers,
Pa Nderry M'Bai.

Pa Nderry,
I have spoken out against the APRC regime ever since they started killing
Gambians and obliterating our constitution and with it our human rights. My
family respects my views on this issue, and I will continue to speak out
against
the regime so long as they are there and engaged in the atrocities against
our people that they are engaged in. I have also been an ardent defender of
free speech.
However, I would like to ask you and "Bulfaleh" what relaying my sister's
past personal life in cyber space and in your paper has to do with the
struggle? What exactly is being implied by talking about who my sister had a
child
with years ago and what that implies? Does "Bulfaleh" have insight into what
my sister thinks of or feels about someone who she happened to have been
married to years ago? How does discussing that private affair impact the
attempt to fight the injustice that Jammeh is heaping on our people?
I think that there is a need to decipher between what is exposing corruption
and what is just an unchecked attempt to malign innocent people and the
latter tends to erode credit.

PANORAMA with 'Bulfaaleh'-President Jammeh's Mother evaucated to
Belgium-GAMS PETROLEUM FOOTS THE BILL.
JAMMEH'S MUM FLOWN
TO BELGIUM FOR TREATMENT
President Jammeh seriously exposed!
President Jammeh seriously exposed! How the mother flown to Belgium?
President Snubbing the US hospitals by sending his mother to Belgium?
This further confirms what some people have been saying i.e. President
Jammeh is not so happy with Washington because he calls them “DOUBLE
STANDARDS“
during the early days of his 1994 coup. This was the time when America and
civilized nations around the world imposed sanctions against the military
boys
without a vision. American and other Western countries were right when they
imposed sanctions. But Jammeh with his little head thought that he was being
punished unjustly. This was far from the reality. Freedom loving nations
will
never support or work with military governments who came through the barrel
of
the gun. Jammeh came without getting the mandate of the people and he will
certainly leave sooner or later.
JAMMEH WORRIED ABOUT HIS MUM'S HEALTH!!!
He reacts in this childish manner when angry with a country or people. If
Jammeh wanted he could have asked Muhammed to foot the bill and then send
his
mother to Washington as he used to do. It is said that the President's
mother
is in drips. She is not too well according to the source I spoke. The old
woman's illness is going to add up because President Jammeh has accused one
of
her guards of witch craft. This is another story that is emerging from the
woods. President has a lot of issues. He is gone crazy.
GAMS PETROLUM CONTROVERSY
One Muhammed the proprietor and a co-owner of GAMS PETROLEUM storage. There
is a storage system being built at Mandinari this will in replacement of the
old one in Half-Die. Reliable sources have revealed that President Jammeh is
a share holder in this company.
Muhammed is the 3rd co-owner of this company therefore he is ready to foot
the bill about the President's mother's hospitalization in Belgium.
Amadou Samba is another partner in GAMS PETROLEUM.
Amadou Samba is also a partner in GAMS PETROLEUM company. Mr.Samba was seen
at the Banjul International airport traveling to the US with his wife Kati
Joh some days back. He was there to attend his adopted daughter's graduation
ceremony. This a daughter of one Kati Joh Amadou's present wife. Highly
placed
sources revealed that Kati and detained former Immigration director Tamseer
Jasseh had a kid well before she got married to Amadou Samba. This is the
reason why President Jammeh has to watch his steps. He is in a circle he
does not
really know. Banjul is a small place. At least Kati Joh will not hate Jasseh
for goodness sake. Neither would Amadou hate him. Those who know Amadou will
not be surprised to see him sacrifice anyone for the sake of his business
interests.
I met someone at the arch before sending in this piece who was so furious
with Amadou Samba. The woman believes that Amadou cares less about any
relative
when his interest stands. The same source said that the only reason why
Amadou went to the USA was to get more contracts under the pretext of
attending a
graduation ceremony. Actually Mr. Samba's own biological kids are presently
studying in London according to the source I met.
