The friend who diagnosed our daughter as celiac is also on the SCD diet.
She wrote me last night and asked:

<I am increasingly having troubles with blood sugar levels. I need to go to
the doctor for a check-up in the next few weeks anyway. I am wondering how
SCD-compliant celiacs get their blood sugar levels checked. Obviously I
can't drink the orange gooey pop drink (they use for blood sugar screening).
In fact, I doubt if it is free of gluten and/or soy. Is there another way
that blood sugar levels are checked?>
