Nice try Nderry. It is amusing how you continue to speak as a third party.
Just understand the readers know that Nderry and Essau Gambia are one and
the same. Now that we took care of that dishonesty, let's deal with your
other non-issues.
"Joe Sambou you response to Freedom's demand for an enquiry is very weak and
totally misplaced. Instead of addressing the issues, you tend to personalise
issues. How come that you can run an organizations funds without any form of
auditing? You never mention how much money was wired to GPU Gambia? How much
has Joe Sambou personally contributed? Why using journalists names
to raise funds when you are not accountable? Who are you to handle
journalists funds when you are not a journalist? Why not engage in civil
society work activities and leave the journalists to run their own show? Are
you for real joe? Wy do you always wanna showcase that you Mr.Know all? Who
begged or prevailed on you to run the financial activities of GPU USA? Not
the general body? Perhaps, Jow and his clique? Few people cannot just seat
there and started writing letter, demanding funds for GPU USA."
Boy, you are too funny. I thought you stated that Pa Samba was running it?
If Gambian journalists took responsibility for the very thing they pleaded
with the rest of Gambia to fund, we would not be having this exchange in the
first place. You neglected your responsibility, thus, this discussion. Pa
Nderry, all who contributed including yourself got updates and it is amazing
that all who contributed a dime are not complaining, but the tabloid artist
in you. The GPU-USA funding info. is not for the consumption of the whole
world, thus the reason why they developed a website to manage their affairs.
This is not going to be one of your irresponsible actions, like that silly
breach of confidence that you put a lot of lives at risk. The group know
that all they have to do to get an update is to ask and it would not even
take a second for them to receive a statement to the nearest butut. If you
looking for some cow to milk for your tabloid, then you're looking in the
wrong direction.
"Where was Joe Sambou when journalist Lamin Fatty was imprisoned. Why don't
you mobilize your men to raise the funds at the right time? Is this not
hypocrisy? Or is this yet another way of getting funds in the name of
journalists? How about our dear sister Fatou Jaw Manneh? What has GPU USA
contributed towards her legal fund? Or you waiting for the courts to decide
her fate before chiping in? Joe and co should be serious. Please if you
cannot help when needed don't use people's names for financial help."
Those in the know about what the GPU-USA is doing to address the Lamin Fatty
issue know what they are working on behind the scenes. The fact that your
tabloid is not informed means you do not have a need to know. How's that?
As to Fatou Manneh, again, those that are in the know, know exactly what's
been done to this very minute I'm writing, including Fatou. Again, the fact
that your tabloid is not informed, means it is not to the best interest of
either Fatou or those in the know to keep you posted. If ever these two
groups have a need for a tabloid, you shall be contacted. Otherwise, they
will not tell you zilch. So, for the last time, did GPU-USA wire money to
GPU-Gambia, yes or no? Which of your previous statements should the readers
rely upon?
"Pa Nderry did the right think by speaking out against your group. A
majority of your so called GPU USA Executive were never members of GPU
Gambia and are at loss about what unionism is all about. It's about time for
Gambian journalists to take charge of this organization. If you talk to
your colleagues tell them that they are failures. Period. Chi Jaama Joe.
Kenasudomireymulai."
Again, Essau and Pa Nderry are one and the same, so, enough of the games.
GPU-USA members not being part of GPU-Gambia, what does that have to do with
a need to form a professional body in the US, today? If your this leap were
measured in distance apart, it would be akin to you being located in China
and the GPU-USA located in the US.
"It's about time for Gambian journalists to take charge of this
organization."
Walahi, and you can say that again. I cannot wait for you folks to run your
own org., so, I can utilize my volunteer time to something else. Now, don't
just stop at talking, you must be seen to perform.
Finally, I still welcome and take your offer to conduct a prove on Joe. I
look to being summoned for a deposition.
Chi Jaama
Joe
