I read a story, supposedly true, about how a little girl went to Heaven, and 
her angora kitten jumped up onto her lap and went to sleep.  Somewhere in 
the Old Testament it talks about how there will be peace between all 
creatures:  the lion will lie down with the lamb, a little child will lead 
them, and a toddler or infant will put his hand into a hole where a snake 
comes out.  So I think it's possible.  One thing I know for sure:  Once we 
get to Heaven, if we could want our beloved pets, we'll have them, because 
if we can't have them, we won't want or miss them.  I hope this will be of 
comfort to anyone suffering from the loss of their animal companions.
