Hi Guys,
Well, I haven't heard from Chris any more since Saturday afternoon so 
I have absolutely no idea where he is.  However, I took the 
innitiative this morning to contact the agency that called me on 
Friday about having a possible opening for Chris and it might be an 
okay thing, if he takes it seriously.  This program is called, 
"life."  It is a community action program.  They pay for rent on 
certain apartments in the city.  It is for kids between the ages of 
17--21.  They push the kids to either finish school or get their 
G.E.D. and work a 40 hour a week job.  Their goal is to also help the 
kids learn to budget and save money.  At least Chris would be 
accountable to someone again if he took advantage of this help.  I 
told the man that I talked to to try to leave a message at the high 
school, but that, otherwise, I have no idea where he even is.  I know 
that this program isn't a permanent answer, but at least it might  be 
a place for Chris to park for a bit and, maybe, get his head on 
straight.  i don't know.  Actually, the reason that they want to get 
hold of him is because he needs to take some psychological testing to 
get into the final acceptance part of the program.  I don't know if 
this is the right thing for Chris or not.  I also know that Chris 
could really mess up this opportunity as he has so many 
others.  Maybe  I'm just writing to you guys as a mother who is 
clinging to another hope being extended.    I know that the counselor 
wasn't happy to hear that Chris had quit McDonalds and had begun 
working for a tella marketing place.  I can't even tell you guys how 
to pray for Chris, but please just keep praying for him.
