Wow, we all really do have opinions.

The majority of you lean towards going back to Parish 1.  This is where my decision was leaning, but just felt I needed the support.
This priest made me keep a secret (therefore in my eyes a lie).  He made my son nervous about the whole situation.
I am not a regular church goer...and maybe due to reasons like this....
But, isn't the wafer supposed to be a "symbol"?  It is by no means his actual body nor his actual  blood (which the wine represents).  I should be able to hand the priest anything that resembles god to me and have it blessed for my consumption.

Thank you all so much for the time and effort you put into your lengthy responses.  I have read them all and respect them all.
I have think it is in my families best interest to go back to the parish that did not put a scarlet letter on us.
