Please pray for David as he'll surely rely on your prayers during the next
few weeks. He is visiting his surgeon to discuss repairing a torn rotater
cup in his shoulder and the anxiety is starting to show. Normally, he's
pretty calm when guiding others through tough times, but he is so concerned
about being unable to help me during this time. He is concerned, too, I
think, about being alone during such a time as this, and I am feeling badly
that I won't have the physical stamina required to work and care for him.
I'm praying for that and praying that I can come up with some treats to keep
some meat on those skinny bones of his. LOL. He has other underlying
concerns, so I do ask that you lift him up in prayer and I'll probably have
to type for him after the surgery for a while to keep you updated. He's a
great guy--a friend and brother. You all would love sitting down to dinner
with him. You could tease him about losing his ears. LOL. He has a
hearing impairment and wears something a kin to headphones to pick up
conversations. Flurrie is always knocking them off. Haha.
I am attending a new year's eve get-together with friends some of which I
knew from high school. There I will retrieve my two old windows 98 pc's
which will still work so I can save the information that was on them before
I reformat them, and the hard drive from the XP machine that was damaged in
the dire. I'm looking forward to seeing everybody there and know for sure
people that the wildest drink I'll have all night is diet coke or perhaps
diet 7-up. LOL.
Well, my bus leaves at 6:02 this morning so I'm going to have to move along.
Hey, things happen early around here. *Smile*
Yes, again, please remember David during these next few weeks.
In The SonLight of God's Love,
April
