My 17 yr old coeliac son will be in Hong Kong for 5 days next week travelling with his (non-coeliac) father. There's not much in the archives that is relevant so any general advice on eating out, inc snacks (icecream), would be much appreciated.
He likes oriental food (but not that adventurous ie chicken wings rather than feet), although he rarely eats in Chinese restaurants here in the UK (because of the ubiquitous soy sauce). He will have basics with him inc GF soya and chilli sauce. No other food restrictions. Travelling Virgin Air (GF food booked).
They are staying in Kowloon at the Eaton Hotel, Nathan Rd (near Jordan railway station) doing the usual touristy things.
