Hello all,

I went to the Kurtzweil website and got the list of compatible blatbed
scanners for Kurtzweil 1000. the list is below. Then I went and searched
for these scanners for sale. They all seem to be in the $425 range. What
is the spacific requirements for a scanner that require these expensive
scanners? Why wouldn't an off the shelf scanner that I can buy at Best Buy
for $100 work just as well? am I missing something here?

I would appreciate advice on this subject very much.

JODY
