A long time ago, I had a thing called smart labeler which reminded me of an
overgrown
scotch tape dispenser. The beauty of it to me was the fact that I could
print one label at a time. I can no longer find it but found the following
from the staples website. I have not yet checked it out but it sounds
similar to what I had.
Dymo LabelWriter 400 Turbo

... end of the blurb about that label printer; what follows is one of the
types of labels; and btw, there were other dymo labelwriter printers and
labels for all kinds of purposes at
staples.
DYMO LabelWriter Clear Address Labels, 1-1/8" x 3-1/2"

Think I will check this out. If it is anything like smart labeler I had it
was simple to use and as I say, one label at a time.
