This site has MS-DOS boot disks. I have not done it, but you probably
download the file(s) and follow directions to create a floppy boot disk.

Then copy the "SA53S.com" file from the previous download to the floppy.
After the computer boots into MS-DOS from the floppy disk, the prompt will
be at the A: drive. Type in "SA53S.com" (without the Quote marks) and press
enter. You should get a lot more information about the computer than you
need. If for some reason the program needs more files to function, you can
copy all of the decompressed program files to the floppy.

When I downloaded the file, the archive doesn't seem to contain any
application that I can run but there is only one DOS based file that need to
be ran in DOS mode. We have no startup disk. Do you have any other

This is Patrick again and I have a friend that had lost his motherboard
drivers on the CD (CD was misplaced) and now he cannot reformat his har
drive because he did not have a backup of the drivers. He also doesn't have
any reference on what the motherboard unit / model he has and the name of
his video and sound card. Is there any possible way to retrieve the
motherboard unit name / model name and also thevideo and sound card online?
