Some of the things I cook when I find I need more
energy are buffalo burgers and dandelion greens. 
Sometimes I have a little taro root which seems to go
good with roasts.  If you like Habanero you might like
using ginger especially in soup.  Also, a tablespoon
coconut oil or a couple of ounces of raw coconut seem
to have a warming effect.
