I recall reading that TG/HDL is a surrogate marker for
fasting insulin. If it's an accurate measurement,
then most of us should be in pretty good shape in the
FI department due to our low triglycerides.
I could have missed it, but has anyone posted any
solid evidence suggesting the body produces insulin
when fasting BG is above 86? If so, mabey it's
possibe that insulin is not produced when BG creeps
into the 90's if triglycerides are low enough??
