If you lived in Florida, I would suggest giving them to our organization
but, you can also look like Kat suggested at many church based or if you
want closer to home sometimes USP's, Easter Seals and other organizations
have adult programs.  
In our area we also have freecycle, I'm sure Atlanta does also.  You can go
onto Freecycle.com and look for a group closest to you.  People often put
their needs  or you can offer without waiting for someone to raise a need.
