46ºN, but unlike Maine it's a completeley continental climate, so colder.  
Then for a greenhouse, import truckloads of decent dirt (my neighbours all  
do that to have a garden), find a place flat enough that doesn't block  
honey wagon access to the septic tank, I'm sort of living on a hillside  
made of bedrock, gravel and sand.
The only veg. to start would be cabbage and onion.
