If that's the case, and he dies, G-d forbid, ordinary citizens have been
charged with negligent homicide for less. I think one of the reasons
that it's making news is that it's the first time a sitting vice
president has shot someone since Aaron Burr, and Burr meant to shoot the
guy he hit. It was a duel.
And the press was sure "gung ho" about Bill Clinton, and the Lewinsky
affair (pun intended), so I don't think it's the "liberal media," per
se.
