Thank you to those of you who responded to my question. I decided to make
half of a chocolate creme pie filling, then folded in sour cherries. It was
delicious!
Chocolate/Cherry Dessert
(double this to fill a pie- but use one box of instant vanilla pudding and
one box of instant chocolate pudding)
1 small package instant chocolate pudding
1 cup milk
1 cup ice cream
Whisk together well. Fold in sour cherries. Pour into 4 small dessert
cups. Refrigerate. Top with whipped topping and shaved chocolate.
Ideas sent to me included:
-Flan
-Making a quarter batch of brownies or chocolate chip cookies
-Fresh berries with whipping cream
-Cheesecake topped with fruit
-Very delicately sweetened and flavored meringue with fresh cut fruit topped
with whipped cream
-scoop of your favorite icecream on a toasted Van's GF waffle. Top with
chocolate syrup
-Namaste Blondie's mix with pistachios and coconut
-individual cheesecakes in either a large muffin or cupcake tin or in the
small white ramekins. Follow the recipe on the Philadelphia Cream Cheese
brick. You can drizzle melted chocolate on them or add any kind of fruit
topping
-a platter of chocolate dipped fruit.
-cherry Jello mixed some whipped topping and fresh strawberries
-Bake a small crust or flat base made of butter plus crushed gf cereal
and/or nuts. Top it with layers of whipped topping and either fresh fruit
or gf canned pie filling.
-mini-cheesecake by baking a small crust of butter and crushed gf cereal
and/or nuts, top that with fruit-only preserves/jam, and top that with cream
cheese mixed with sweetener and a little gf vanilla or cinnamon.
