Hi everyone!
Having heard from several people since I posted my last note, I now know
that although extremely low levels of IgA can be indicative of Selective IgA
deficiency, as long as one produces *some* IgA it is possible to have a
positive tTG result. Statements that people with Selective IgA deficiency
will not get positive tTG results should perhaps read "Most people with IgA
deficiency will not have positive tTG":-)
Thanks to everyone who took the time to reply to my query! Cheers. Aggi-Rose
