Smart Balance Plus spread says gluten-free on the label.
Thanks to all who have been pushing for clear labels. I don't know what standard they're using, but it's good enough for me. (But I still read the labels, just in case. Some things slip through, Asian rice crackers, for instance, which clearly say gluten-free AND wheat. They are imported by Haddon House in Marlton, NJ. When I called them, they said they're working on changing the label, but I don't trust them now.)
Interestingly enough, the other Smart Balance spreads say no dairy, no starch, etc., but not gf. When I get a chance, I'll contact the company and ask what the story is.
