Looking for research, parent experience and other information on 
osteoporosis specifically in children.  My youngest has been strictly gf 
for nearly 8 years and his osteoporosis is not getting better despite 
calcium supplimentation and bone building excercise.

Have learned the the condiditon is rare in children, usually secondary to 
another condition and a little bit about idiopathic juvenile osteoporosis 
that typically resolves on it's own.  More information before an 
appointment with an endocrynologist later this month is much appreciated.
