It's simple and has nothing to do with willpower. I weigh my protein sources at the beginning of the day and that's it, I eat no more protein. In the times when I've eaten it by say 10am -- that's happened! -- I simply sip olive oil to satisfy any hunger pangs. One or two sips and I'm not interested in eating ANYTHING. Hunger gone.
This is why I have such a hard time imagining consuming one and a quarter cups of fat a day. I know it can be done as it's what our ancestors did for millenia. But three weeks wasn't enough for me to get used to it. Or else my body simply needed to get below a certain body fat percentage to make such a practice palatable. Dunno. But it works like heck for relatively pain free weight loss. Make absolutely sure you get enough water, potassium, and magnesium BTW.
