I know this was discussed the other day.  I think it was Todd Moody who laid to rest the "raw test."  You CAN eat a lot of things raw, and some without apparent immediate negative results.  But raw's a good guideline.

As the articles I sent mentioned, there are a few possible positive effects of eating low sugar, natural chocolate.  But there are quite a few things that ought to give one pause.  Again, it belongs in the same non-paleo group IMHO as tobacco, alcohol and pot.
