I found sausages at Stater Bros (S California)  without  the sodium 
nitrite or other additives in them.  I don't remember the product name. 
  It was in the rear of the store in the packaged meat section.  Maybe 
other stores have them too.  They are uncooked but I thought I could 
bake a couple of packages in the oven this weekend and freeze them for 
future use.  If I get them this weekend, I'll pass on the product name 
to the list.
