Hi again,
Well, I have a linksys g brodband router.
There is a section in there for applications/games where you enter an application name and port range etc. I did this and now I can connect to a node with
no problem.
However, I can't seem to transmit. I think there should be a sound when I press the transmit key but there is none. I'm connecting to node 9999 as
suggested and get the welcome message loud and clear, so I know the receive connection is working fine.
Without putting the ip address and port range into the application/game edit boxes, I cannot connect at all, so it looks like I've got everything okay as far as
it goes.
Any suggestions as to what I might try to get the thing to transmit?
I do have skype on the system but it is not running at all, and my default sound device is the audity 2 sound card.
Any suggestions will be most welcome.
Thanks,
Don W6SMB
