Hi Dave.
I'm curious about something. If you find a steady carrier in the CW mode,
do you still get a zero reading?
The problem with these new S-meters is that they work well on the steady
carriers, but I find that if I have a signal that is being interrupted, or
is varying in strength (like SSB) then I have to be careful to read the
meter at the exact instant that I'm actually getting signal, and on my
TS2000S, that's tricky. I expect that is true on the TS480 as well.
