Cynthia, I am not an endurance athelete, but what
about trail mix? And/or dried fruit like banana chips,
papaya, etc?
Elizabeth

Thanks for the reply, Elizabeth! Those sound like good options, but I'm
hoping someone out there is actually trying it because of the common stomach
issues involved in fueling during runs longer than 90 minutes. Anyone?
Maybe it's all the sugar that makes runners barfy, crampy, and --to put it
politely-- in need of a bathroom at the earliest opportunity. But it may be
due to other causes. Also, being new to Paleo, I do not fully understand
yet how muscle and liver glycogen gets replaced during a run without using
sugars.
:) Cynthia
