There's not enough space to list his articles & introductions.

I can understand not always agreeing with Professor Gates. I don't understand the disrespect. "...in my opinion, Gates pays a great deal of attention to creating favorable and romantic histories for wealthy African Americans." What "favorable and romantic histories" are you talking about? Perhaps 'In Search of Our Roots?'

From Professor Gates' CV: http://aaas.fas.harvard.edu/pdf/henry_louis_gates_CV.pdf

Books:
In Search of Our Roots (New York: Crown Publishing, 2009).
Finding Oprah’s Roots, Finding Your Own (New York: Crown Publishing, 2007).
America Behind the Color Line: Dialogues with African Americans (New York: Warner Books, 2004).
The Trials of Phillis Wheatley: America’s First Poet and Her Encounters with the Founding Fathers (New York: Basic Civitas Books, 2003).
Little Known Black History Facts (McDonald’s Corporation, Oak Brook, Illinois, 2000).
The African-American Century, with Cornel West (New York: The Free Press, 2000).
Wonders of the African World (New York: Knopf, 1999).
German Edition of Colored People, 1998.
Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Black Man (Random House, 1997).
The Future of The Race, with Cornel West (Knopf, 1996).
