I aquired a Toshiba Tecra laptop (Pentium 3, 667 MHz, 256M RAM, Win XP) that has a dead backlight. I can barely see the image on the laptop screen. Works just fine with an external monitor. Is it feasible and cost effective to replace the backlight lamp? Russ Cox
