Amy,

I'd probably have the same experience as you if I tried it now.  But there
is something about the exhilaration of going down the slope with the wind in
your face.  Sort of feels like flying.  And when you have the feel of fresh
powder, it just adds to the wonderful feel.  But that was then, and this is
now.  Reality check.  Grin.
