I have an older computer that I am using to record live guitar music, using Cake Walk Guitar Pro. I cleared everything off the computer and did a clean install of Wind98SE. Then Installed the Cake Walk, and all has been working very well for a few months now. Suddenly, today, when I boot up the computer I get the start up screen, giving me the "auto slave...etc", and a ping, and a flashing cursor, and all stops dead. I have attempted booting using a floppy boot disk, and a CD book disk. It makes no difference, it allows me to get to the BIOS by using the DEL key, but I am not sure what to change to make the difference. Sound familiar to anyone?
Thanks in advance.
Dianne
