For me, if I *didn't* combine my foods I'd have
problems. The fat I add to my veggies slows the
digestion of the veggies.. otherwise I get blood sugar
spikes.
I eat 60-80 grams of carbs in veggies (about 30+ in
fiber) each day, along with meat and oil. Also mixing
the meat and veggies and oil together gives my food a
flavor I can't get with them seperated out.
