Someone here mentioned that he/she had his/her silver (mercury) fillings removed and has been feeling better every since. I was looking for the post in the archives but could not find it.
I have a lab result that indicates my mercury level is 32.4 while the normal range is 0 – 12. Incidentally, before I found out, I started to feel worse again – fatigue, unexplained weight gain (6 lbs), difficulty moving my bowels, depression, and more. My doctor is still waiting on some other results before addressing the issue. In the meantime I was hoping to hear from some of the paleo folks if anybody has had any experience with mercury toxicity. If so, how did it make you feel? How did paleo help, if any? From a paleo standpoint, what can I do? And if you were able to get rid of the toxicity, how did you feel different afterward?
I am hoping that my downward spiral in my health has to do with the mercury toxicity and that it can be dealt with.
Thank you for any info you can share.
