Hi Lynda,
Who is the author of that book: "A Consumer's Dictionary of Food Additives"?
Have you heard of Neanderthin by Ray Audette (in Don Wiss' Paleolithic pages)?
He advocates leaving all manmade foods out of the diet, thus taking the
necessity out of label reading. Fruit, meat and vegetables make up the
diet-anything you can spear or yank from the ground is ok. All the rest
cause diseases of civilization. An excellent book and important for the
children of tomorrow.
I think you will like it.
All the best,
Susan
