As follow up, I had a friend call me last night who is at the exact same
place I am. He called because he was asking me if I had any insight to his
situation. I told him what the Lord has taught me recently, that is, in the
last two or three weeks. The bottom line? the only problem we have is
Jesus and where He is in our life. Yes, yes, I know it seems like the
problems are based upon everything else but they are not. So what comes up
this morning as I am feeling sorry for myself? Jesus said, Be of good
cheer, I have overcome the world. thank God for that. When I get this way,
I go into a Thank You Jesus mode. That is, I just thank Jesus every time
the bad feelings come or the feelings of defeat or the feelings of failure.
It's called worship. When there is nothing left, there is always worship.
If you can't even do that much, call a friend and let them worship for you,
and with you, in agreement. Those people are called intercessors. The Lord
told me once, when I was complaining my burdens were too heavy to carry,
that what I was carrying were not His burdens because He said His burdens
were light. If your burdens are too heavy, you are carrying things He
desires to lift from you.
Phil.
