I like to read the books in a little different order than their
numerical order, because it gives more of a chronological order of
the events in Narnia.  So I'd read them in this order:

The Magician's Nephew, The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe, The Horse
and His Boy, Prince Caspian, Voyage of the Dawn Treader, The Silver
Chair, and The Last Battle.
